Everyday Math
Parents have online access to the K-5 math resource guide packed with valuable information on mathematics standards, concepts, goals and expectations for students at each grade level, tips for at-home success, including a sampling of math problems that parents and students can work on together, and more. Hands on Science
The science programs are anchored in an inquiry approach to science learning. Students participate in hands-on investigations in order to develop a deeper understanding of science concepts. Read more
Kindergarten-Full Day
District 308 kindergartners have the opportunity to attend, a full or half-day kindergarten program. Read more
Reading Program
The Houghton Mifflin Reading Series is based on the most respected scientific research in order to deliver effective instruction in the five key areas of reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Students engage in award winning literature by favorite authors and illustrators. These stories are found in the grade level anthology and leveled readers. After each theme, students are assessed on skills and strategies. Teachers use this information to guide instruction, to monitor and document student progress, and to screen and diagnose reading abilities. Read more
